Nauti Sisters Sea Farm is officially part of the Maine Oyster Trail. The trail was recently featured in a New York Times travel piece exploring Maine’s oyster culture. For a women-owned oyster farm in Yarmouth, Maine, this kind of national recognition means a great deal.
What Is the Maine Oyster Trail?
The Maine Oyster Trail was launched by Maine Sea Grant and the Maine Aquaculture Association. It is the first digital oyster trail of its kind in the United States. The trail connects visitors with more than 80 oyster farms, raw bars, and coastal experiences across the state. Since launching, it has logged over 9,000 check-ins from travelers exploring Maine’s aquaculture scene.
Why We’re Part of It
Nauti Sisters Sea Farm grows premium oysters in the cold, clean waters of Casco Bay. We also offer private oyster farm tours and charters from Yarmouth, Maine. Our mission has always been to connect people with Maine’s working waterfront. The Maine Oyster Trail is a natural extension of that mission.
Being included alongside more than 80 farms and raw bars across the state is an honor. It reflects the work we’ve put into building something real — from the oysters we grow to the experiences we share on the water.
Experience It for Yourself
If the New York Times feature has you curious about Maine oysters, we’d love to host you. Our private tours depart from Yarmouth and offer a hands-on look at how Nauti Sisters oysters go from seed to shell. Oyster tasting is included on every trip.
Tours run May through September. Spaces fill fast in summer.
